We now introduce the new, square chamber 2H-series AECtype EUROPE autoclave range.

 
Chamber
Basically manufacturing engineers of sheet steel boilers, uses NC machine tools throughout the autoclave pressure vessel manufacturing process.
Fully corrosion resistant, these square Z2 CND 17.12 (316 L) stainless steel chambers are pressure-tested at 6 bar and DRIRE-approved for operating pressures of 3 bar.
Chambers are finish-polished using a 320 grain and equipped with an internal load transfer system.

Doors
Doors are laterally translating, pneumatic jack-operated solid Z2 CND 17.12 (316L) stainless steel, featuring inflatable joints and automatic locking/unlocking control.
Intake Opening
The intake opening is 614 mm wide by 920 mm high
to accommodate basket stacks up to 600 x 300 x 300 mm or submultiples thereof.
Double Jacket

Original double-jacket design with flat panel heat exchangers prevents vapor condensation on chamber ceiling and sidewalls, ensuring rapid steaming. Panel heat exchanger and autoclave chamber temperature controls are fully separate; with panel control a function of sterilization program. Steam and chamber supply circuits are likewise separate.

Loading Height
A loading height of 420 mm and a vertically hinged, swing-away door facilitate the handling of heavy loads of frequently three stacked baskets by female personnel.
Vacuum
Vacuum depth and system control determine sterilization efficiency. The vacuum pumps equipping this autoclave range have a flow-rate of 120 m3/h at 55 mbar, enabling the pressure vessel to be exhausted well beyond this pressure. Arranged in series in the pump intake, two cold traps are thus able to condense vapor from the chamber. Prior to being pumped into a tank, water handled by the vacuum pump is passed over a magnetic bar to prevent scaling. Autoclave vacuum control is based on an
electronic absolute pressure sensor not exposed to atmospheric pressure variations, ensuring precise vacuum detection and repeatable performance.
Steam Generator
The 400 I steam generators used supply-saturated steam in adequate volumes throughout the sterilization cycle, while oversized heat transfer areas prevent water entrainment during steam production. The generator tank is Z2 CND 17.12 (316L) stainless steel, pressure-tested at 13 bar and approved for 7 bar operating pressure. Steam generators are protected against corrosion by the use of automatic water drain traps for chloride and acid dilution and residual contaminants removal. Though steam production is initiated at power-up, the sterilization cycle selected will not be started until a sufficient steam reserve has built up. These powerful 96 kW generators are extremely quick steaming, ensuring uninterrupted steam supply at very high load densities. The generator is located in the autoclave frame and easily accessible for maintenance.
